Nutty for nut milk

For any one who is trying to eliminate animal milk from their diet they really only have a few choices.  Either you give up milk altogether or you switch to a veggie based milk (Sometimes spelled Mylk) But one of the problems with most nut milks is that the ingredient list can be a bit long and contain some undesirable sounding items.   You can make your own as it is not that difficult but does require some planning.  Another option that just came on the market recently is the new fresh nut milks.   One that I have used is called “Malk” and has a very small ingredient list….it is basically almonds, salt, and water.  I found this product at my local Kroger supermarket in their health aisle cooler section Just like cows milk, Malk is refrigerated because it is fresh and must be used quickly.  See their website for more info:
